Team TRANSPORT is an ten person, interdisciplinary research team at the University of Maryland in the Gemstone Honors Program. We are working to advance the treatment options for pancreatic cancer through nanoparticle therapeutics and drug delivery. Our goal is to make our technology more effective than existing targeted biologically based therapeutics for pancreatic cancer. Through conscious experimentation, careful analysis, and an equity based research approach, we aim to make a significant contribution to the medical field and limit the unseen impact we have on underrepresented communities.
